Sounds like a high priced money maker...

Yep I agree...but...

y'all just wait until they bump up the ethanol content to 15 or 20%.....all small engine carbs will suffer.

There's an idea...I'll do ya one better...Let's figure out how to distill the stuff out of the gas, that way $20 will get you 4.5 gallons of good gasoline, and a half gallon of moonshine to celebrate with!!!

My daddy and his daddy used to count their corn by the gallon. [they really used chicken scratch. Better flavor than straight corn] They made good money from the time Daddy got back from the war until they busted Granddaddy in 1955. He got a year and a day in a work camp over in Tallahassee. It was a farm camp, and him being a farmer, he was put in charge of the hog operation. They let him keep his pocket knife. That wouldn't happen these days.

I agree with everything that's been said: Mostly this is a money maker for B&S. The ethanol scam is disgusting.

I put Stabil in the gas when I buy it. It seems to help a lot.

I prefer diesel engines but I don't really want to heft a diesel chain saw, LOL.

We still have several non-ethanol stations around here. When I'm burning lots of gas in my lawn equipment in the summer, I just buy E-10, but when I buy fuel in the winter, I go to the non-ethanol station. The difference is price is never more than 2 or 3 cents and sometimes that's 2 or 3 cents less.:) I don't think I'd mind off-the-shelf fuel for my small 2-cycle equipment, but my riding lawn mower sucks down 2-1/2 gal every time I cut the grass.

Non ethanol stations are catching on here. One used to carry nothing but ethanol free. Now you have a choice of two ethanol blends and one non. The non which is regular is about 15 cents higher then corn regular.
