I heard the new 5.3 is not that impressive.

The reviews on the new DI 5.3 are nothing less than imoressive.

A guy on another forum said he test drove one and he thought the 5.0 ford was faster. I thought it was going to be more than 355hp.

I don't see the 6.2 listed for a 1500 or 2500 truck for 2014.

They have not released the power numbers for the 6.2 yet, hence why nit on the site yet.

The new engines are not about speed, they are about power and efficiency. What gears did it have? They are DOD Too.

The torque numbers are up in them too.

In the VIN number, look for the letter D in the eighth position. The LBZ was used late in the model year 2006 through early 2007, before the new body style was introduced mid year.

No more 6.2 for the 1500's? Mind you, the DI 5.3. Should be enough for the 1500 anyway!!

I have no details but assume it will still be there in the Denali and be in the oddball special order 1500 (like mine).
