Thank you very much for sharing these pictures, and the design process, with us.

The question that comes to mind in reading this thread: "How many manufacturing organizations are willing to share their product design strategy online"? Kudos to ETA as well as you TBN folks providing good input. It's a win/win exchange.

Hopefully you don't think they started this thread for our benefit do you?? They started this thread in an attempt to gain free knowledge thru experience about designing a heavy BB. No discount prices will be given to those that have contributed to that design on this thread. This is all about money.

I for one am glad they started this thread and do think in some ways it is for out benefit. I am not asking for any discount for participating in this thread nor do I think anyone else should. How many manufactures do you know of that listens to their customers and try to give them what they ask for. I wish auto makers would do this. I want more manual transmission options in trucks. That is the main reason I have a cummins ram. It is the only hd with a manual option. If they offered the gas powered ram I probably would have bought that over the diesel. Just my opinion we all have one. Thumbs up.

True, but how often do you see ETA post on here to help anyone, unless it is an opportunity to sell their product?

They do help many people on here with their how to videos, regardless with what manufacturer one finally decides to purchase from. And if they DIDN'T offer up their product they wouldn't be doing their job. They do sell implements for a living......

Pretty snarky bunch!

I understand they have to sell attachments... and that is why they are here. I am not saying they offer a bad prouct (i may end up buying one of their box blades ir rakes) but many people here seem to believe that they have the best product in the world and any seemingly helpful posts on here are for the readers benefit.

There are in fact other vendors on here offering help/guidance to members that they have no hope of making a sale to.

Congratulations to the capitalist economy! This is exactly how it should work!

When was the last time that GM or Chrysler or John Deere or Kubota or etc. asked us for our input on a new design? Why get hung up on names? If EA created a series of the best box blades ever, would it make a difference if they called them the Bambi Box Blade?

My 2 cents worth.

Rick

Good Lord that's a BIG BB!!

Thank you EA for asking your potential customers and users for design input. While I agree that some of the marketing names are a little over the top and give me an image of the Sham-Wow guy, I applaud you for starting this thread and discussion. I hope you sell a ton of them!
