Stan, you may have water over the top of the culvert with heavy rains, but I don't think it will wash away with the cement weight. You may lose some soil, but the pipes should stay in place. Does that ditch ever run full of water or is it normally less than half full? If it never fills up, your culverts will be just fine.

It is dry unless it rains... when we get those gully washers it will run pretty good.. Most of these area I have not been able to get into to see because of the underbrush.

Said I would post a pic of what I used to shape the creek bed

quick attach plate with a 3point quick attached welded together.

That way you can use some 3 point implements of the front. I have use the scaper and rake several time. give you a bit more reach

That's what I call sweat equity. I tried to get some work done this weekend but I can only bear it outside until about noon. Typically the jobs I did took longer than I bargained for, so I didn't get everything done.

I agree with Eddie, get you some rebar and drive it through those bags.

I bought my front adapter like that at TSC....not as bulky....speeco sells it......via tsc...I use mine mainly on a carryall as a platform to work off of and to carry stuff. Also handy for the landscape rake...

Why 40 pounders? I feel jipped if I can't get 80's.

They are half the price, but almost as long and thick. All you want to do is to stack them up and build a wall, so weight or volume of material isn't as important. 100 sacks of 40 pound concrete will give you a wall a lot more then half as big as 100 sacks of 80 pound concrete. Once it's cured, you wont notice the difference except you wont be as sore or as broke when you are done!! LOL

I see you point when stacking them. I guess for mixing I got used to 80's & 60's always throw off my guesstaments. I have never used 40's.
