I Need Advice on a 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adaptation

Follow up to my getting a new trailer. What's the switch on the left in this picture. The right switch is the water heater, but I can't figure out what the left switch is for.
It is for the electric heating element, if it is installed. Be sure there is water in the tank before you turn on the switches

Oh. Of course.

I'm so far behind the times I didn't even think of an electric element in an RV water heater.

Thanks.

I was going to say same; electric water heater. Mine only has the elctric switch; for gas you have to start pilot light and set temp control from outside.

electric is nice, and fast on those small tanks.

I drain and flush my water heater yearly. Got a hose adapter at the RV place, to reach up in the drain hole, and jet blast the depsoits in there. I clean up the gas vents etc at same time. I usually do that at same time as repacking the bearings(my axle manual says 12 months or 12,000 miles, whih ever somes first). The brakes get checked and adjusted then too. I bleach the fresh water system yearly too(in my manual).

Oh. Of course.

Thanks.
