I really enjoy having a tractor with 540E PTO What do you mean by this?? I have a Kubota l45 and I was wondering at what Rpms to run it at Thanks Andre
It's a feature that allows you to run your engine at 1700 RPMs and still get 540 RPM on the PTO.
I have only seen this offered on JD and Case tractors - though I am sure there are other manufactures out there doing it.
Your owner's manual should tell you what engine RPM is required for your tractor to make 540 on the PTO. It varies a little by tractor and manufacturer. That, or sometimes it is indicated on the tachometer on the dash.
