I am caught up finally...
PHEW!

Now it is pouring rain and 33 degrees. Snow would be prettier, and I've got to fire up the tractor and grapple some downed trees before the supposed weather hits...

Be well,
David

Good Morning. 0840, light rain, 63* with 89% humidity. Forecast calls for a high of 62* {????} with a 20% {???} chance of rain. This weather forecasting is tricky stuff.

If I do my weekly run to Marianna, it will have to be early. I have to setup for tonight's Piggly Wiggly Christmas party, and they have an opening time of 1500. But there is a Sheriff's Department Christmas luncheon in the Ball Room, so I will have to be there ready to get to work when they get out at 1300.

Drew, good luck with the slice and dice this morning. Everyone stay safe.

32* & heavy cloud cover. Our total from the "storm" was 1" of snow. No freezing rain. The nasty stuff stayed to our south. I hope you folks down there are getting back to normal today.

I mounted the 3pt snowblower on the the tractor and put the snow tires on the Honda Friday. I'm sure that is what turned the bad weather away from here. :D

four inches here and still coming down. Left way early this morning and glad I did. Doc got there only a few minutes late, and took an hour working on my weight reduction program. I was doing fine until I turned my head and saw what they carved out of me and then I turned a tad green. 2 inches by 2 inches by 3/4 inch deep, down to muscle. For something the size of a pencil eraser, I'm sure they got good margins doing that. Really didn't hurt much, they did a good job numbing the area.
We'll see how chipper I am later this afternoon when everything wears off.

Need to go out again and get some items shipped for Christmas, it is fast approaching.

Actually I will be quite content with the love of family and the friends in my world.

Drew, I don't care if you have to go to the Sr. Citizen Center. Do not spend the holidays alone. There are folks at the SCC who will enjoy your company as much as you'll enjoy theirs.

Glad to hear your "weight reduction surgery" went smoothly. You should have ask the Doc if he was charging by the pound.

Or adopt a family or group of kids, buy them a coat and a toy, we do that as often as we can, no greater gift than the smile of a child on Christmas.

An anonymous person paid off all the lay-aways yesterday at a local Maine department store location. That was something I bet for the people who it helped.

Still isn't hurting, which sort of amazes me. The calm before the storm...
I have tylenol and tramadol if needed. I think it was three ounces of me. It looked huge. All one
big piece. I understand getting margins but i think he cut out the adjoining State...well, of course, better safe than sorry, and I told him to not spare the knife.

got to go back out and get some antibiotic he prescribed, so out in 4wd we go. I leave between five and ten car lengths between me and anyone else, if I can, and while some idiots will tail gate you in an ice storm, most will take your lead and move back also. I don't have far to go, and I hear the plows out there grinding away. Still coming down, very pretty really.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...fa la la.
