I just replaced a bettery in my RTV yesterday. I think it was 10, maybe 11 years old. Always outside. Darn fine lifetime for a battery.

No fun when you need them and they are dead.

My 2000 Harley I just replaced the original battery summer of 12 I believe. That is even after I left it in a buddies garage in California for like 11 months, over night with a battery tender and it was good to go for a cross country, Anaheim to Fredericksburg, VA in 4 days...

Anyway... I got the battery charged, tractor fired up, and went and grappled the parts of 4 downed trees... Driveway is now safe for Drew's motor home, and FG's small airplane...

15*F @ 08:38 EST. The rest of the week looks chilly with maybe some snow moving in Saturday night.

Good Evening. 2100, clear, 48* with 80% humidity. Forecast low of 40* with no chance of rain. Our weird heat wave has broke, with highs in the high 50's and low 60's the rest of the week. We are back in the 70's with 100% chance of rain by the weekend, though.

Had an early night at work. Just a few final touches on the cleanup and I'm out of here. Everyone have a good evening.

Guilty as charged...

I pulled out of Anaheim Hills at almost 1pm. I stopped at a Motel 6 in Winslow AZ (Had to stop...). I rode more than 100 miles before breakfast the next day, stopped in OK City, OK at a nice Hilton Garden Inn. Same before breakfast the next day, and was not quite able to make it to Knoxville TN. It got foggy & dark and I could not see the faded painted lines crossing the Blue Ridge mtns... I stopped at a Knights Inn (EWWW!!) just shy on Knoxville. I rolled into my garage in Fredburg at just after 4pm (adjusted to Pacific Time = 1pm). I could have been home at least an hour earlier, but I got silly an went looking for a scenic "short cut" and missed a connecting road and had to go way out around to get home...

Great ride...
Sigh...

I think it may have been optional before, required after wife says she never expected retirement would be so much work.

12 degrees this morning and will be a sunny day and the temps will fight to get near 30 degrees
Looks like lows in the single digits for the next couple days.
