Not me I haven't even started the snowblower this season or taken my tooth bar off. I figure if I don't get ready it might actually happen. I've been promised half a foot of snow or more and gotten 0 -1/2" too many times. In South East Michigan in the last 10 years I've found that if I take the forecasted amount subtract 3 and divide by 2. If your left with a positive number that will be closer to what we get

Nothing like a nice fluffy "dry" snow. The ground is nice & tight and I'm looking forward to it!:D

Good looking equipment, you are ready.

Not really, they take good care of me for a fair price, and today while the sun is shining, not next Tuesday after all the hay has got wet.

Oh...I probably wrote that wrong...wasn't complaining about Trottier's. I buy parts there fairly often.
The "sucks" part was about you busting your tractor...

If SE MI gets hit by a three day white out blizzard, it's going to be your fault.

IF all you guys don't want your snow, then send it up here to me. I've been ready since Labour Day and so far have only seen a couple of inches. The Kioti is fueled up and I have 175 gallons on hand IF I need it.

vt,

You might consider a pressure relief cross-over valve; my Curtis blade has one as an OEM feature.

I know I know !! We talked about these last year and I know I need one but I just kept putting it off hoping to be clever enough to never hit hard enough to need one. If you look up 'Procrastination' in the dictionary you will see my picture.

Be careful what you wish for. ;)

That sounds like fun, and exactly what I'm hoping for :) I bought my tractor 2 years ago and i don't think we have more than about 6 inches on the ground at any given time since then. It has proven to be a great snow deterrent. We have not had a good 16" snow storm since 2001-2002 time frame when i was in college.

Lots of Maine folks on here, I am in Alfred, tracking for 12 inches tonight. Going out to run the generator for a while this morning, and put the blower on the tractor. Chains are already on, first time I will use them. Also plenty of firewood inside. Be safe everybody.
