Nice progress, it's always enjoyable to watch a building go up like this. Looks like you have a great source of equipment to work with.

Funny, but I was assuming you where using wooden posts. Seeing the metal posts clears it all up as to why you did the concrete footings like you did.

It sure looks good.

Between my father, my father-in-law and myself we've accumulated some equipment over the years (plus I build barns for a living):thumbsup:

Thanks, this is the first all metal building that I have done and it has surprised me how fast it is going up compared to a wood structure.

I am reusing the roofing as it is in really good shape and specially formed to fit the building. It has a nice curved over ridge and eves. The siding was in decent shape, but all my windows and doors will be in different locations so it will be easier to just buy new.

That makes two of us...

We've gotten about two thirds of the roof on. If I didn't have other projects going on we might have gotten it done this week. So far the roof has been going on pretty well, all the panels are pre-drilled and it uses metal clips that wrap around the bottom of the pulin to secure it. Originally they use wide flange machine screws with a flat head slot, but they were a major PITA to work with. I'm simply using a 1/4x1" bolt with a tight fitting washer under it and it looks like it will work well. A flange head bolt would have been best, but would have had to been ordered and would have cost about three times as much. It will take right at 1,000 bolts to secure the roof, I completely cleaned out all the 1/4" bolts that size that the local Tractor Supply had, lol. (TSC is a great place to buy hardware since it's by the pound. 1,000 bolts, nuts and washers cost about $50.)
