Don't the wolves and coyotes follow the herd, too?

To follow the herd is to admit your sheep... I like that.

"To follow the herd is to admit you're sheep" is even better.;)

Its the wine. Grammar is irrelevant when you've had several glasses of wine. Grammar police are even more irrelevant at this point.

Wolves and coyotes don't follow the herd, they follow the weak, sick, old and young from the herd. This only matters if your in the herd. Ever seen a wolf or coyote hunt a mountain lion? Nope, me neither.

Spelling, meaning, and interpretation of the English language can be very local. We live in Ohio 40 miles north of Kentucky. I work with a lot of folks from Kentucky. What something means in Ohio doesn't necessarily mean the same thing in Kentucky. Nor may it be spelled the same. For example "far" in Ohio is "fur" in Kentucky. "Lacks" in Ohio means "likes" in Kentucky.

I have had to explain this more than once to some very highly educated people. My wife is from Kentucky. I have no prejudice. We also live very close to Indiana. They do speak very good Ohio there.

I watched a show yesterday on Kentucky Moonshiners. I could not tell what the were saying half the time.

I'm surprised there are any dialects left after 2-3 generations of listening to TV programs.

I don't think it's a Kentucky thing but more of a southern thing. It's like when you go across the Ohio river it's an instant mega shock of southern. Not saying that it's bad but it does take a little learning. I may be fluffing some fur on some Kentucky folks. If so I do apologize. The southern kindness is truly there in Kentucky. And they sure do know how to cook!

1) Awesome projects that others "cobbled together" and off-the-cuff that make me drool and wish I could replicate.

2) View. Back. Click. Repeat.

Having to view attachments in a reply one at a time and having to hit the back button to scroll through the attachments of a reply instead of a picture carousel like many other forums.

Guilty of links without comments as the link are related to the thread topic, usually.

I don't know where you go to get saw chain chaps to wear but we're going to try the hardware store that sells chainsaws and saw chains.

I agree with this one 100%
