TXDon; I found those Fire pickles at the HEB today! Couldn't wait to try them, so opened the jar on the way home. Had helf of them eaten before I got home. They are not hot, but they do have a good flavor. With the little firebreathing girl on them, I expected some heat, but I did enjoy them!

Well heck and I was so waiting your review ... Something like .. OMG I'm on fire!!

Maybe I'm just hotter than the pickles!

edit: I use habaneros and Sriracha sauce to make my hot wings.

I thought it was "bland greasy and more bland greasy". ;) I'm lucky, because there isn't much that will give me heartburn.

Yep, hot greasy and mild greasy; heartburn free of charge.:p

A little Blue Bell Home Made Vanilla will take care of any heart burn you get from eating that good Wolf Brand chili.

Ron,
I thought Chile:confused2: was a country and Chili:licking: is what we put beans or no beans and eat?
hugs, Brandi

I prefer the original spelling since it ties to the ingredients.
How do you spell chili pepper? Is it "chili", "chilli", or "chile"?

The ingredients Jim uses in his recipe are "Fresh Poblano Chiles" and dried "New Mexico Chiles"

Spell it anyway you want, but don't be late to eat it or it will all be gone.:D

I think I'll make another pot, with NO beans, on Sunday. Looks like another cold front is coming in tomorrow afternoon, after I get spoiled to a 60* day. Cold start to the week, for sure. Might opt for a pot of soup instead. I'll have to see what I need to use from the freezer.

The only thing I can tolerate heat wise is cayenne seasoning and pickled jalepenos on nachos. No fresh jalepenos.

Hate tabasco and most other vinegar based sauces.

Cholula sauce is good. Franks Hot sauce is good (cayenne type).
