Geez it done got down right cold and appears next week is going to be colder ... I've got 21 with NNE winds

Not quite that cold here; only 22. I used to like "cool" weather so I was glad to see the end of summer and liked winter, but I've already had all the winter I want this year, and know we've got 2 more months that may be even worse.

My wall thermometer shows 20.3 F this morning. I'm heading to Wichita Falls for a treatment. The good thing about the wind is I won't have to clean frost off my car's windshield.:)

We are at 26 up here and an inch of snow over night but.............. heading for -4 on Tuesday night. That's real snuggling weather:)

Now it's that the truth .. I've been working outside all morning and that wind is tough

Go to the little multi quote icon and click on it and it will put a check mark on it. do that to as many as you need then on the last one 'reply with quote' and it will post all the checked quotes along with the one where you clicked on reply with quote in that thread.

Well that was easy enough with your instruction.

Thanks alot.
Ron

Around 10:30 a.m., I took the granddaughter and our mutt to the park. It was still under 30 degrees, we were right out in the sun, but also out in that north breeze. It didn't bother a 9 year old girl and an 8 year old Chihuahua, but it was definitely too cold for comfort for an old man.:D

How do you get the replies from multiple messages to show up in your reply, as you did above?

I tried the Multi-quote icon with a + next to it, next to "reply with quote" but it didn't do that for me.

It would be handy in some situations.

I always wondered how to do this. Cool, useful feature. Thanks Two Bit.

Think you people in Texas will like your winter better after the 15 of Jan much milder temperatures but turning dry as a matter of fact whole country will turn much milder for two to three weeks if not longer

I know that I am ready for Spring and Summer! I've got to play in a barn on Monday, and the high is supposed to be 32! I have huge "Cool Zone" type coolers to use in the summer, but it seems like I can never get the barn warm, in the winter. Have to open too many doors taking critters in and out, and the wind takes any heat with it.

Playing in the barn today too, but not until 0930. 25 now (0530), and heading to 52. I am glad the truck sleeps in the garage, so it will be warm quickly!

Sounds warm to me.:fan::fan:

. It is 4 degrees actual temp here this morning and they are predicting minus 14 for Monday and a wind chill of minus 40 plus a lot of snow.
That 300 acre Sunrise Ranch for sale across the main highway from Jim sure sounds tempting..
Then I could be a real :cowboy:

You'd like that place as long as there wasn't a train on the track. The only drawback is the train track that runs along the frontage between the land and Hwy 287. That will hurt the value of the frontage. There're lots of coal trains on those BNSF tracks. But hey! At the bargain price of just $3 million, there's plenty of room for you to build a runway and hangar. No problem for a high-roller like yourself.:D

Is there alternate access or a public road crossing the tracks?

Oh Gee Wiz...I was hoping that you would buy it, seeing your success in the market in 2013, and just let me live in the second house Dec-Feb. and be the water hose winter caretaker. :confused2:
Just think, you could teach me how to make Texas Chile and I'd bring the recipe back here and market it as
JR Texas Chile. Great eaten from the Brushy Creek to the Possum Run.
