Your truck can be reflashed with EFILive to block out the AFM (active fuel management) logic. Your oil consumption will be reduced. EFILive - Home

Blocking the AFM would be the first thing I would do if I drove a GM. The Hemi seems to fair much better.

I have had 7 Fort Wayne Plant pickups since GM built the plant
I have never added an ounce of oil to any of them, my 06 Sierra has 140 k on it and still not a drop.

Interior is falling apart, but not a drop of oil burnt

Had a old Ford 360 in my 70 Ranger that I feed old Harley 50 weight to. Stopped burning oil then.

The "not a drop of oil burnt" was added for effect :rolleyes:

My old CJ's used to like to have a sip or two every 1000-2000 miles
