It's listed as 1850 FPS from a rifle. I don't know how many FPS are given up by the 6-incher in the pic below.
Left to right are the .17 Aguila, .17 HM2 and a .22 LR. The OD of the .17 liner I used was smaller than that of the Browning's recessed crown. Rather than shorten the barrel 1/16" so the liner and barrel would be flush with each other I dressed up the end of the liner and left it stick out about half the difference.
I haven't played with it for some time. The next to last round in the mag frequently fails to feed properly. Some time I'm not so busy with other stuff I'll have to get back to tinkering with it.

Explain to me what a "Licensed" gun is. I didn't know there was such a thing short of machine guns (Full Auto).
There is a big difference between an unlicensed gun & an unregistered gun. Currently in this part of the world a gun does not have to be registered unless bought from a gun dealer.
The less the government knows about me and what I own the better.

That's a cool looking (.17) round. Any idea on trajectory compared to 22 LR?

So far I only used the 25 yard outdoor range. Rifle ballistics are pretty good, but my pistol barrel is more than a foot shorter than a lot of rifles, so unless they use a really fast powder my velocities are down a good bit.

very few places even require registration.. most are just background checks.. etc.
as for title 2 guns.. that's a tax paid xfer.. not so much a license.
