Top kicker I don't know where your post went but I'll post some PW pics tomorrow.

Topkicker here you go. Sorry no action pictures. I agree most people don't even know what a power wagon is. Like you said 4.56 gears lockers front and rear, electronic disconnecting sway bar, 2" lift kit, 12,000 lb. warn winch from the factory. Oh and the limited slip in the rear is helical gear type limited slip differential or you can lock it in with a turn of a dial on more click on the dial and both front and rear are locked in. I set the cruise running empty on the interstate an usually get 15.5 to 16.5 mpg depending on the area 15.5 was going through West VA 16.5 most other states. Pulling the trailer in the picture I was getting 12.5 except through West VA I was getting 10.5. It doesn't get the best mileage but so far this is my favorite truck ever. Right now on winter fuel around town I'm getting 12.7 MPG and that's playing with it in 2wd on icy roads. If I need to haul more I have my diesel.

Ford has cancelled the Tremor F150 model. I didn't want to read through all the off topic battles to see if someone stated this.

some of us are old enough to know the originals...and wish we still owned them.
Serious trucks, not much on ride or nvh...and most had a winch and likely knew how to use it.

I'm not surprised they canceled that truck. Who would pay $44K for a regular cab short bed half ton?

Yeah I had a 1970 Dodge when I was younger I think it was power wagon. It had a 318 3 speed and the transfer case was not mounted to the transmission. It had a drive shaft from the rear of the trans to the transfer case then one from the front of the transfer case to the front diff, and a shaft from the rear of the transfer case to the rear diff. The clutch was mostly worn out when I bought it but with the separate transfer case it was one of the easiest 4x4 clutch replacements I've ever done. That truck was very rusty but bullet proof as far as the drive train I abused that truck to no end and it never did break. I wish I had it back I am much better equipped now to remove the rusty old cab it had and replace it or built a custom one. The Power Wagon I have now is an amazing truck and seams tough as nails too but don't think it's on the same level of toughness the 1970 was. I guess we'll have to see when it's 20 to 30 yrs old how it compares to the 1970.

They call that a "divorced transfer case" vs a "married".

Some of us are old enough to remember the Power Wagon and the TV show it starred in. :D

I thought the oldest ones were the coolest looking but wouldn't want to drive one honestly.
Like driving an Army truck.

http://www.chevrolet.com/silverado-comparison.html
now I've been looking at this simplistic comparison that Chevy uses, trying to reflect anything they can show to
prove a statistical win. Not much difference in towing, though clearly the Ram is rated for a little less.
Or is it...let's face the real world. What are you going to tow? A five ton trailer, and if you are smart you won't have it maxxed out.

What is the next trailer capacity up?
Whatever it is, it is sure likely you should be pulling it with a 3/4 ton HD truck.
So really, other than for bragging, what good does a rating on a half ton over 5 tons do for one?
The truck either pulls five tons safely or it doesn't. That would make a great comparison test. I think I saw one a while back, and
surprisingly to me the Hemi came in last in acceleration. I wonder how things would stack up today?

I'm a little concerned we'll have videos of 5.0 F150's getting their doors sucked off by 420hp Denalis. Two fine motors, one just larger than the other.
Twenty percent larger. Going to be an interesting horse race to see how Ford deals with that. Up the boost on the EcoBoost to 400hp?
