It is up to you what you want to do.
If you want to control a grapple at full flow and full speed, then get a 3rd function solenoid valve, and uses a push button .
If you want to control the grapple using the joystick, then get the selector/diverter valve. You can feather the grapple.
If you want a remote valve, then get a 2 or 3 spool remote valve with maybe float, detent, etc.
12 VDC 10 GPM OC DA SOLENOID VALVE
1 STATION DO3 SUBPLATE OPEN CENTER
Just match up fittings and some hose and a place to mount the valve.
Then wire up the solenoid so it has power when tractor switch is on.
I am not sure, but you can ask.

How does the solenoid attach to the block? Is there gasket material between the two mating surfaces? just seems like a lot of pressure between the joining surfaces.
