Kubota B2620
I saw in the John Deere section of TBN that you can build your Deere on their website and then take 15% off that to figure an actual purchase price. Does that apply with Kubota as well?

I was quoted $14,100 for a Mahindra Max 25 with FEL so I built a Kubota 2320 with a FEL online which came to $16,324. If I can come 15% off that both machines are in the same ballpark.

Is the 15% off MSRP just for Deere?

I would not say that 15% off is the rule. You might get only 10% or less at some dealers. It all depends on the Dealer.

Thanks - this is going to be my 1st tractor. The more research and brand comparison I do, the more confused I get!

I was able to get 12% off without much negotiation on our B2320, last year.

Don't forget to look at Kioti's and LS's and Mahindra too.
All good brands that will serve you well.
Both Murph and I have owned Kubota's in the past but the other brands are worth a look too.

If I was you I would write down a list of dealers within a 50 mile radius. Start from there and go get some seat time to get the feel of what you want, then get some real quotes to compare. Good luck and have fun. The best part is getting there. Enjoy the Hunt.

After you take the 10 to 15% off the build my kubota price do you add sales tax to that?

Good points. I would also become familiar with what is standard equipment, versus option on each unit prior to visiting the dealers. Example.; quarter inch lift or position control, two or three speed hydro, treadle or pedal forward and reverse control. Consider the implements you will use and how easy will they be to attach and remove.

There aren't any Kioti or LS dealers near me so I've been concentrating on Deere, New Holland, Kubota, Massey Ferguson, and Mahindra. They all seem like machines that will serve me well, so I'm down to comparing specs, features, and prices now.
