Is the cab as quiet as what I am hearing? Have heard several comments that this truck is the quietest vehicle they ever drove.

Thanks! I looked at the F-150's very hard, but didn't test drive any Ecoboost equipped trucks. I had my eye on the FX4 package with the 5.0. Friend of mine has that exact setup and it's a great truck! My problem is the 3 closest Ford dealers are just flat out terrible. I try and try to buy trucks from them but it just has never happened. Either they act shady during dealings, or something. They're just so high pressure and I always feel like they're trying to pull one over on me. The ironic thing is they all have a very high rate of turnover when it comes to salesman. The guy you deal with today won't be there in a year or 2. It's not Ford's fault though, the trucks are fine, it's just that the dealers have cost them a sale. This is like the 3rd time they've done this. I always end up sitting at my friends desk who works at a GM dealership, and of course he gives me the most smoking deal you could possibly get, doesn't try to sell me a lot of crap or tack on extra fees and is always throwing in extras like 5 free oil changes, free steps (if you want them), $100 coupon on a Line-x bedliner, stuff like that . To be honest, the deal takes about 15 mins, we spend the rest of the time talking about sports, women, or something like that. The Dodge dealership is even worse then the Ford dealerships. Some shady characters working at that place, not to mention the dealership looks like a dump and dirty. I could drive an hour to another Ford or Dodge dealership I guess but I would hate going out of my way for warranty work if I needed it.
Around here the Toyota dealership is the worst in my eyes but they still sell tons. Dodge is the second worst. I have had the best experience with Nissan then BMW. Chris
I had a great experience with the BMW dealership when I was car shopping for my mother last year. Very laid back feeling, while at the same time being very professional and up front. I'd never owned a BMW before and they didn't try to take advantage of that. They knew the product inside and out and could answer any questions you had.
Yea. Back in 08 when we bought our Nissan Titan I sent the little lady to test all 5. She said both the GM and Dodge dealers new nothing about the product line. I went into the dealer a day later and asked the tow rating of both. The GM guy looked at the hitch markings and said that number. The Dodge guy looked at the door sticker GVWR rating and said that number. I was done with both. The Ford guys knew the most but the Toyota and Nissan guys were well versed also. I ended up with a Nissan from a lady sales person who knew more about trucks then the local GM and Dodge guys combined. Chris
My friend who's the only person I'll deal with if I buy a GM truck knows the trucks inside and out too. He spent 20 mins just explaining and showing what all MyLink can do. He's the exception to the rule though because most car salesman have no clue. I don't really listen to the salesman when they're talking to me while I'm looking at the truck as I already know what I'm looking for before i step on the lot. My issue with Ford was the rebates were great but most of it was eaten away by all the crap fees they added back on in the end. I told them I was only paying tax, tag and title nothing else. They wouldn't budge and neither would I. I'm not paying your dealership fees and stuff you added on the truck that I don't even want to begin with. That's your problem not mine, don't add it on next time unless someone asks for it.

I just bought a 2013 Ford Edge Sport for the wife 5 weeks ago. Super easy. It was a left over and through a Internet search there were only 8 within 250 miles of our home. One was only 3 miles from my house at a dealer and did not have the sync system. Went and test drove it and offered him 10% less than list. He said no and I got up and walked out. Was at the dealer about 1 hour total.
I called another dealer who was 57 miles away, gave him my number which was 12.5% less than his list. This one had the sync system and was my second color choice. He called back 30 minutes later and said ok. Put a $250 deposit over the phone via credit card and left for my bank. They emailed me a invoice so I could check it over. Very basic. Agreed price, title fee of $30, tax of 7%, and of course it was minus my $250 deposit.
Left the bank with a cashiers check and told the dealer I would be there in 2 hours. Have it gassed, clean, and paper work ready. Well pulled on the lot and left 40 minutes later with the little lady following me home in her new ride.
This is how easy most of the Ford dealerships are around here.

I just got a '14 GMC 4.3 Z71 SLE loaner for some minor warranty work....The six runs better than I thought it would.
Features and quality are outstanding...The drive I just had and will have for a few days are far better than a test drive. GM really did a nice job on this. If I can get a decent deal together, the H3 might get replaced with this given SWMBO loved this and even suggested this replace her H3---Never thought that would happen with a pickup.
..Thanks dealer for making this a loaner![]()
What's wrong with your 2013?
These V6 motors put out more than the V8 motors of 10 years ago. Heck our Eco Boost F150 would flat stomp my 99 7.3 Power Stroke Diesel.
Chris
SIGH !!!Looks nice but i can't stomach the idea of buying from a company that stole taxpayer $$$$$. Just filed my corporate return Monday with a large check. Pretty sorry GM couldn't stand on their own 2 feet and took government welfare. Even after that i hear they are recalling 1.5 million vehicles for crappy ignition switches......
Small rust spot due to the knuckle dragging neandrathal that demo'd it...I planted my flag on that one when I bought it. The 4.3 would be a great general use P/U..Pulls 7100# per the sticker...Not for me but for many others this would be a great truck..Might be one for the wife.

This is a pic on my 2011 ford F-250 I bought sticker was $53,000 I bought it for $44,000 less discounts.Still crazy prices.I have since sold it and bought a F-150.Sticker shock, how about tongue drop? I looked at a Ford Truck the other day in a parking lot still bearing the "Window Sticker" that someone had just purchased close to sixty grand.
