eMax 22/25 info?

Forgive me for the newbie question, but any opinions on the Daedong (spelling?) diesel in the eMax22? I've never heard of Daedong before, but I'm sure Mahindra wouldn't have chosen that engine if it wasn't decent. I'm open to opinions, good or bad. Thanks!

Daedong, is the parent company of Kioti tractor, and it is very similar to a Kubota engine.

I believe the Bobcat CUTS used Daedong as well. Reliable engine.

Was going to stop at our local dealer last week but they had all the tractors bunched up against the fence and a big trackhoe and some other machine working in the lot so didn't stop. The eMax looks more and more like what I'm looking for, something small that I can work in the pens of my barn to scoop manure. The fact that they are a bit smaller than the Max series might be an advantage for me. Have an LS dealer very near to me too and want to check out the J2023 too.

Unless I'm just blind, I cannot seem to determine if the eMax tractors are 4WD. Mahindra's website makes no mention of this anywhere that I could see. I was able to get a quote from a local dealer who has a few eMax's in stock. As expected, they're in the $16-17k range, depending on options & financing choice.

4WD for sure. Best pricing is cash or standard rate and a tractor loader can be bought at a pretty good price right now.

To be frank -- encourage your customers to look at the added cost of the FEL when they buy a new tractor under 30HP. I looked for years, and burned through MTD pieces of crap. The reason I never bought "real" tractor is because I saw multiple Ford 8/9 sized tractors for sale by the side of the road, but without the FEL it didn't really give me a lot over the MTD other than some speed in mowing.

The BH makes me the envy of my neighbors and I use it. But the FEL is going to allow me to clean up my yard to the point that I will be able to mow all of it this year for the first time since I bought the property. :thumbsup:
