I have some of those too - I was just thinking that the 'drill press' style would allow then to easily stay in one spot if you are working on a couple things that are the same... (almost like a jig type setup)

You guys might want to check out the StrongHand clamp catalogue too. Much more expensive than the HF stuff but very nicely designed and built. I got a few of them in a starter kit that came with my StrongHand welding table. Don't have any photos but they have a full "professional" range of clamps that is pretty amazing. Might give you some ideas for how to modify other clamps for use on this table.

I picked up one of these tables on Saturday. The cashier was surprised that they had one in stock, I guess I got lucky seeing it was wedged between some other items kinda hidden. Seems to be built pretty well. The instructions are crappy, I had to flip between pages and measure bolt lengths. Somehow I ended up with extra parts...lol. I also had an issue with one of the yellow plastic handles. As the bolt pulled into the handle it got to a point where it spun because it was round deep inside instead of hexagonal. A bit of solid wire around the bolt to space it back farther into the handle fixed that for now. The table plus 2 magnetic 90 degree stock holders for $52. Can't complain about that.

I checked every HF within 50 miles of my home....nobody had any in stock. I had to go to Florida to deal with some family business last week and found a HF about 2 miles from my mother's house. They had 3 in stock. I bought mine and trucked it back home under the luggage in the back of my car.

My plastic handles were worthless. The welded nut on the inside of the legs was welded at a slight angle on both sides. so the machine screw bound slightly do to the friction caused by rubbing on the os of the hole on the other side of the leg. The plastic handles both spun right around the head of the bolt. I guess I have my first welding project on the table.

Given HF, that was predictable.
