A good tooth bar and you will think you have an excavator. Full buckets every time. Makes any tractor into a whole new tool.
A bit of angle and you have a 'power rake', tears out all roots and vegetation with ease. Stones no longer deflect your bucket.
Only downside is that you cannot backdrag a smooth finish nor scrape sand from a paved surface unless you remove the toothbar.
Get a good one. Not a 'strap on thingy' but one that mounts with 2 bolts to the bucket sides.

I second all the above ^^^^ My tooth bar is heavy duty and bolts to the sides of the FEL, but only cost about $350 or so. It is a digger, limited only by the power of my tractor (which is a good thing. I am glad my tractor cannot overpower the implements, because I push them to limits).

I would give $350 any day to have what you said be true and after looking at some adds on one, can't remember the brand name, but I was convinced it must be the real deal and now you come along testifying. I am going to pull the trigger and get on with this thing. Now to figure out what brand it was

Richard, I hate horses, mules, donkeys, even My Little Pony..., I have been bitten, kicked, stomped, thrown, chased up a tree, cornered in a grain trailer and generally terrorized by those darned things in my early years. Dad got out of the business when I was small, but not before I was emotionally scarred for life.:laughing:

And when I get stuck I will be saying to myself, this is funny, this is funny, this is funny at least 10 times before I get upset. Maybe by then I won't be.

If you should happen to get stuck, I have heard that a clause on TBN states if videos are taken we get first viewings. If you haven't gotten stuck at least once where you hoped nobody was looking, your tractor has way too much power.

My family all 4 wheel with Jeeps and Buggies. Some say if you can get yourself out with your winch, you ain't stuck. Everytime I've unspooled my winch I've definitely been stuck....
