Rtv servo issues

After my wife harrowed the field I noticed that the rtv occasional would rev but not turn the wheels , this has gradually got worse with a load it will barely move .
Today it will not move at all engine revs fine all cables linkage etc seem fine , I have adjusted the servo adjustment screw the one with 14mm lock nut this makes absolutely no difference is now so bad it will not move at all , what is under this screw is there anything in there .
When I put in to low it feels as if it wants to reverse but doesn't .

Is there something in this transmission that can get stuck ?

Any help or pointers appreciated

Sounds like you may have a burned out charge pump in the HST transmission. TIME for a dealer visit sounds like to me.

Am I correct in assuming that the problem occurs in both 2WD and 4WD?

Yes in both all it will do is move back about 1/2 inch then nothing , how much is a charge pump is it easy to get too ?

What happens when you step on the differential lock? My RTV900 stopped pulling once but when I engaged the diff lock it took off. I found out the splines were worn out on the one side of the wheel hub & the axle was just turning inside the hub.

That's why I asked the OP whether the RTV moved in 4WD. There's been at least one TBN thread about the spline issue on the rear drive.

the diff makes no difference , if its the pump can i get to this or is it transmission out ?

I am still suspect as it worked so well then nothing then fine then nothing as quick as that it seems to quick

How many hours?...

Has the HST been serviced and the correct fluid used?

Not sure I'd touch the servo adjustment at this point, but make sure that the rod and it's mount haven't worked loose or something strange like that. Unlikely, but gotta chase the obvious too.

Fluid level? Is it possible something got turned up in the field and poked a HST filter?
