So just shy of 500 lbs.. Understand I am not joining the fight, I am just publishing facts..

Yep. Add in the loader and loaded tires puts the 3200 right at 4k.:thumbsup:

The Kobuta had Ag tires, loaded. The Kioti has Industrial tires, not loaded (yet).

I am sorry, but something is hogwash here. There must have been other factors. Cause with loaded tires on the 3200 and not loaded on the ck puts the weight the same (for all intents and purposes).

And two equal weight 4wd tractors and one has ags while the other R4's, the Ag's will out pull all day long and even into the night.

I believe the loaders are rated about equal. The Kioti's loader is stronger. Don't care about the stats, it's just stronger.
I don't know what to say about the Kioti just being stronger, it is. I know once I load the tires it will really pull and push harder.

I take it you are pretty happy so far with the Kioti. How was the 3pt smoothness compared to the L3200?

Not sure I buy into the loader being stronger either. Same diameter cylinders, and actually less operating pressure.

I think it is a mental mind game. You were not happy with the L3200. And you had every right to be unhappy, I dont blame you a bit. But I think the new found fondness of the CK is clouding your past experience with the L3200.

For the size tractor, The Lxx00 kubotas have plenty strong of a loader. It takes loaded tires and a 1100# bushhog to keep my rears planted. With a 700# rear blade that sticks pretty far back, I can still lift them. So short of having 1000# or a backhoe on the back, I dont see how anyone could even test the loader to its fullest. And I am sure the kioti is the same way. Since the loader is pretty stout for the machine size.

Again, My posts arent meant to talk about how great kubota is or how bad kioti is. They both make a fine tractor and we are both happy with what we have. Just trying to clear up some of the muddy water here. There is no way a CK35 with R-4's not loaded will outpull an equal weight tractor with ags in the same conditions assuming we arent on pavement.

And just curious, what have you done with the loader on the CK that makes you believe it is stronger? and what did you have on the 3PH considering the tires arent loaded?

My experience with my CK25 (for what it's worth): I have loaded R4 tires and have moved well over a thousand tons of material. With or without a rear implement, I have never been able to lift the rear tires with the loader. Loader has always stalled first. I don't know if this says the loader is weak or the tractor is heavy, or a little of both. I don't believe the loader is weak, though. Maybe could use more breakout force for the weight of the tractor

The only Kubota I have ever used is a B21 without loaded tires. I would say that my CK is definitely more capable than the B21 at ground work. I think mainly due to weight differences, not due to HP. And the backhoe on the B21 was too powerful for the weight of the tractor. Tossed it around terrible whereas the CK stayed planted letting the backhoe do its thing.

LD1, What are your experiences with the Kioti? Stats are easy, I can look them up too. If all to choosing a tractor was weight, HP, and tires- that would be too easy.
I don't want to get in a pissing contest here, I just happen to have an opportunity to test two very similar in price yet to me different in performance tractors. I see you have a Kubota, good luck with it. I don't mean to make this personal.
I was warned that I would be flamed by Bota people for bringing up this subject. I should have listened.

That statement almost makes no sense. Examples?? You saying that a CNH TC33 can do the same work as a kubota 50hp (L5240, MX5100, M5040)??? I just dont see it. And engine torque is of less importance (IMO) than engine HP. Quite simply, HP is HP. IT wont change. But you can achieve whatever torque you want with gearing.

No thats exactly not what I'm saying. The TC33 is another tractor that is the newer style lighter weight with smaller displacement engine. This tractor is following the same footsteps as others which is why I said you have to review the actual specs. To see more about this goto "tractor data" and review specs for the Kubota MX5100 and Massey Ferguson 451. Same type tractors but the Massey is much more usable in the field. This is due to 2000lbs more weight (mwfd vs mwfd) and to its larger displacement engine. With the Massey you can run engine rpms much lower as it has a much better torque curve than the orange one. This makes the tractor easier to operate and you have more throttle range to change speed without changing gears. If you ever had a opportunity to tear down both engines you would be amazed at the difference in piston sizes. Just two totally different animals. Also pto speed for the Massey is something like 1650-1800 while the Kubota is 2700-2800. Basically they are maxing the engine out to get the hp ratings they're achieving.

Im not bashing any tractors as they are all pretty good these days just saying that some are better IMHO that others. Initial quality though Kubota ranks very high.
