I was warned that I would be flamed by Bota people for bringing up this subject. I should have listened.

Who is flaming you? You gave your opinion and others have responded with their opinions. How is that flaming?

Seems to me that most people are surprised at the massive difference in capabilities that you are reporting in the two tractors, and are trying to understand how that can be possible.

Agreed, I have seen nothing I would consider flaming, I think most of us would like specifics etc. to help us understand and in order to base future recommendations on.

I too am trying hard to understand why one is performing so much better than the other given weight, power traction; not saying it's not happening, I am just curious to know and I really prefer the Kioti model over the Kubota. Between my brother and I, we own Case, Ford, John Deere, Kioti, Kubota and Massey Ferguson.

On any given day he'll use two or three different machines.

Not trying to flame you. But given the loaded tires on the L3200, and not loaded on the CK, the weight should be near identical. Just trying to wrap my head around the fact that you caim a tractor with R4's outpulls a R1 equipped tractor of the same weight?

Pointing out that I dont think it is a tractor issue given what you have said. Rather some other difference. Condition of the ground at the time of the pulls, Hitch height, front loader off on the L3200??

Something else had to change big time for there to be the difference you claim.

And you never did answer how the kubota failed. Tire slip, stall, not enough power??

That's odd. Cause my l3400 will out pull dads 8n. Its close, but it will. He has bigger tires. 12.4x28's and loaded. But with the loader I am heavier + 4wd

This one had 11.2x28's filled completely full of calclium. It was not even a competition.

If anyone is interested a local consignment auction in Bremen, Ohio has a CK35 with loader, 1450 hours. Sale's on the 19th of April. No connection to this tractor, the owner or the auctioneer... just noticed it today in the listing. Not able to make it to the sale as I have a business meeting on Saturday in another town. A nice Kubota L series (forget the number) with about these hours, loader and back hoe sold there for under $9,000 last fall. If I had the money then it would be sitting in my barn today.

Yea, I would have thought the kioti would have faired better. Given it weighs more (a lot more if loader and loaded rears). And 4wd
