Store the chains on nails horizontally and they shouldn't be to heavy to lift.
When you have a bad knee and a bad back, lifting heavy things too high can be a recipe for disaster. I have no intention of blowing my back out again. Putting them on I just put one end on the wheel and then rotate the wheel. I don't have to lift the chain more than 4' and I don't have to lift more than 1/3 the weight of the chain.Seriously? Too heavy? Do you need your tractors too pick them up? LOL

It's time consuming but worth it. I'm considering getting them chromed.And I presume buff with a dremmel tool.
