Just a FYI. Titan Attachment seeks the same universal quick attach mount for $150 cheaper And it is Very well built. All 1/4" steel. Every joint is completely welded as well

The brackets are pretty affordable. Wonder if they would be strong enough on front of a larger machine? The Skid Steer solutions is $550. But looks pretty heavy built.

They are a nice looking unit. I am just throwing the Titan option out there. I just installed one on my 60hp tractor last weekend, they are a very nice piece, especially for the $$

I looked at Titan and liked them but their design did not work well with full cross tubes. The latch boxes are not filled in and the latch handles don't lend themselves well to plating over the sides to make slots for full cross tubes. I sure tried to make it work because I like their products and their prices are right.

I didn't think it would be heavy enough for what I am doing. I'm good for 6,500 lbs lift and more than that on breakout so...

Now that I have a mill and such I'll make the next ones for my track hoe and articulated loader.

Thank you. I chopped up a lot of plywood making mock ups before I felt safe chopping up the 1/2" plate. If it isn't right something is going to tear up. I've used it quite a bit and all is well but I'm anxious to see how it handles the tree shear, bale grapple and brush grapple. Got to move it back to the farm!

Your adapter plate looks really nice!
I recently purchased a 2004 JCB 212s which I believe uses the same Q-Fit attach system as your 210s. If you still have your plywood mock ups around would you be able to take some pictures? Or maybe I could buy them from you?

Hey Seqouyah101,

I purchased a SSQA from Skid Steer Solutions. I need to weld it to the JCB plate that I have. When you made your brackets did you design them so that the lower pin and upper attachment point are 90* vertical? I drew my plate in AutoCad and the pins attachment point are offset 4-3/4" or about 14*. Wondering if I need to make some spacers to prevent so much rollback.

I'm not at the machine right now but this weekend I'll measure the offset for certain and send you the dimensions. 6" rings a bell Centers are hard to define, I'll measure from the vertical.

I was also concerned about the rollback but you'll need it for dirt buckets and not so much for forks. However, I've always found that fork rollback for factory forks is less than I like. There is plenty of roll forward to even curl the forks.

The rollback is the biggest reason I built so many plywood mockups. I think I still have those somewhere in the barn.

Yes my factory forks don't rollback as much as I would like. Alot of times I'll stack logs on the forks and have to be careful on a slope to prevent the logs from rolling off. I drew everything like I said previously and added a ss combo bucket to the drawing then rotated the assembly in the drawing. The ss bucket goes back alot further than need be. My buddy has a machine shop and he is going to cut some 1" plate to weld to the SSQA plate and then weld those pieces to the sides on the JCB plate so that there will be plenty of attachment. That way if I'm using my hydraulic boom pole to set trusses I don't have to worry about a small amount of weld pulling apart.

I'll be back to the house by the weekend. I cut a pocket on my adapter plates to swallow the rectangular tube on the SSQT so I could get plenty of weld on them then did a root pass and a weave across the top of that. I'm not concerned about it holding. The top plate that has the hooks is the part in tension unless you are back dragging but I also extended the lower pin hole plate long enough to engage the sq tube x members in two places.

I was a little concerned about square, plane and warpage... I always get too carried away welding so I get warpage... slight this time so I pushed it all up against a tree and bumped it a few times to stress relieve it. Worked.

I don't CAD, wish I did. What program do you use?

What you do need to worry about with that much leverage, is the top of the SSQA plate bending up and coming off, like my fork frame did when I tried to lift too much heavy tubing off of my trailer.

You can add some bracing at the top, like this stump bucket has.
