I just drove from Alexandria, Va to Northeast Mississippi, took from 0600 EST to 2130 CST, and then find on TBN another way to throw away $300.

Glad I checked in, even though I only have 240V in Mississippi.

This thread is ridiculous. I could have done a million other things instead of log on here and read this. I already have a PA200ST, why do I need a PA300? Don't bother answering, I would have ordered it anyway. I hope I've got enough room left in my shop for it.

They list for $589. I'm not sure what the best price on Amazon usually is, but I've never seen it below $519.

I've never run a AC/DC 225/125, but I can just see me beating it to death with a sledge hammer, because of those jumps in amps:thumbdown:. If the PA-300 has anywhere close to quality of arc as my PA-200, I will be one happy camper:drool:. The hot start doesn't mean much to me, but the adjustable arc force is the best invention since chocolate ice cream!:thumbsup:
