locknlube cupler for a grease gun

Are you pressing the lever to extend the jaws as you put it on the zerk?

And when pushing on the lever do the jaws all open nicely?? It's a stone simple mechanism, but with anything mechanical I suppose one could conjure up a failure mode!
On a regular grease gun coupling (not the one being discussed), if it goes on or off only with difficulty, it can be loosened by unscrewing the two halves of the head.

Yes, when the release lever is fully compressed and the jaws fully extended the coupler slips easily onto the zerk

got mine in the mail last week
used almost 2 tubes of grease thru it
was so easy I grease things that didn't even need greased yet just to try it out on everything
I too thought that it was a bit pricey but after you use it you don't know how you been living without it
so I think it was money well spent :thumbsup:
My grease gun has the rubber hose on it and makes things so much easier just snapping it on and getting the handle out in the open to use the lever without busting my knuckles on something

I got my lock and lube today and after 4 fittings I fell in love. It will save a lot of mess that is for sure.
I ordered one and it got lost in the mail and Russell sent me another right of way, which got here fast.
If the other one comes a friend who is in the tractor business also wants it after using mine.
I hope it does it is well worth the money and Russell will get payment for the one he sent to replace the lost one.

Zerking is fun! Just whipped out my mini gun with Lock n lube installed and greased every (I think) zerk on my BX... and fast. This thing is awesome! :cool2:
Every fitting took it easily and no blow outs! No mess! No jerking hard and hoping not to break a fitting. And we know what that entails to fix. I am so impressed. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: I know three thumbs up! One more than I have... that good.
