That's right, my Bri-Mar dump trailer won't go down. It's a gravity down system but when I hit the button, Nothing! My understanding is there is a solenoid that allows the fluid to return. Any ideas/tricks??

Thanks

I would check for blown fuses first...then if no joy find the solenoid servo and manually move the valve...

And seek medical attention if it stays up more than 4 hours.

I think I would be seeking something other than medical attention.....

As you check it out with the bed up MAKE SURE YOU BLOCK THE BED before getting under it!
I met a one legged guy that climbed over a frame rail to work on a dump truck rearend.
The bed had been up all weekend and when he climbed on it was monday morning and it dropped!

If it has a solenoid you might be able to hear it click if it is working.

Has it been more than 4 hours?

4 Hours!! It's been four days!!!!!!!! I don't think I need to see a Dr. , I think I need to get admitted,,,,,,,,, Turns out it was the hinges. Originally checked them to see if stones or something got lodged
in there. Took a couple of guys putting some weight on it to get it to move,, Never would have thought rust could stop that weight.

Thanks for the help and laughs!
