ok, today i spent 4-1/2 hours degreasing my loader. haha
Actually, while i had the loader off and i completed my 400 hour service, i decided to try and clean up the greasy mess that was my loader. I was actually getting big globs of grease falling onto my hood and hitting the windshield.
So today i pulled every single pivot pin and assorted parts, pressure washed all the parts and used wax to remove all the grease. Man, have i been overdoing it with the grease.
I also had to replace 2 zirks on the tractor that wouldnt even hold the new lockandlube grease tip. it just slipped off. i replaced them with new metric zirks,and all is good again.
From now on ill stick to a single shot of grease. I had to scrape gobs of the crap out of every port i could see.
It was a heck of alot of work, but since ive had the tractor for 3 years, i felt it was about time.
Now that the tractor is all waxed and so is the loader, the tractor looks better than the day it arrived here. I almost dont want to use it.

These are so great, I think I'll order some for Xmas presents. I wish it was a little smaller though.

I see from the tracking info my lock-n-lube should be here today or tomorrow. I bought an extra to give a friend who I owe a favor.

Okay... I have a CK27. Anyone else notice this? LOTS of the zerks are in the recessed fittings. I was about to plop down my money - this is the only negative I have heard on this device.

Hmmm... too bad on the CK but on my BX the recess fittings on the BH have enough clearance around to allow access. What a dream! :cool2:

The only machine I've run across since I've had mine, with recessed fittings that I couldn't use it on, was the bucket pins on a Takeuchi TB-15 excavator.
