I'm so far in the toolies I don't have any stores near me that handle that stuff. Like George, I'd order thru Graingers. For flex hose I used a custom made hydraulic hose. Yeah,,,, Redneck,,,,, but works.

You got internet right:thumbsup:, Found them both from Northern tool, Thanks anywho.:D

Glad you found em Murph. Are you plumbing your shop as well?? Or is it already plumbed??

Don't forget a hose reel. After plumbing my shop and adding a reel, I rarely use my 4 drop connections. Mine hangs in the middle of the shop with enough hose to reach out all 3 doors and all 4 corners of the shop. I use it constantly. Also, add drain cocks at each of your drops to drain moisture if it becomes a problem. So far I've not had a moisture problem at all. My shop is a fairly constant temperature which helps.

I hope this is received well by the thread members. I just listed a Quincy 325 compressor only on CL- Detroit. I purchased it in a utility auction and had great plans for a great compressor. But it got complicated. It's rated to use a 3-5 hp motor with 600-900 rpm; and will max out at 19 cfm @ 175psi. The problem was that the max pressure is 500 psi intermittent. So I went looking for a pressure tank rated at 500 psi. Hard/ expensive to find, and I think you'd want a pressure relief valve rated at 20 cfm in case the contactor got stuck on. Then a friend gave me a upright 60 gal 6 cfm complete and there it sits. It's listed for $350 and to anyone here it's $300 or bo and I'll through in the motor pulley I bought (double belt) sized for a 3500 rpm motor and max compressor speed. The note says it needs a new 3/4 street 90 fitting. Bringing it home, it flipped over in my Explorer and tore the door panel and cracked the fitting.
This is a 2 stage pressurized oil pump, 19 . and at it's current use, will last forever. LOL
I thought someone here might give it a useful home and take advantage of the bargin. Althought it's a project.

Got a call today from Eaton and they will credit me 100.00 for the shipping snafu. Tomorrow is D-day a 9 to 1:00 window? 4 friggen hours I'm stuck waiting for a Truck... How can they not schedule with in a few hours is beyond me.

The trucking company should actually call you with an estimated delivery time. That may happen tomorrow. I'm assuming you haven't been told the truck line name?? I've had several items truck delivered over the years, and they've always called me day of delivery to make sure I'm there. They don't wanna wait anymore than you do.

I'm all giddy about this Murph and anxious to see the project completed. :)
