That is pretty much what my $300 one is like.
so you got a steal deal...
When a 1700kg compact pulls 2.5 yard (or 1.9m3) like in that video, my 3.5 ton 5718 should pull a 4m3 (5.5 yard) scraper, so when i rent it to a local (less skilled) farmer he can handle it nicely with a 4.5 ton 100hp 4wd... Within now and 15 years i'll build one, when everything else i want to build has been built...

Re Video.

The Ashland 25S appears to be a well engineered scraper, have always liked it when only one set of hydraulics is required.
I was not impressed by the video implication that a 2.5 cu/yrd scaper could be handled by a 40HP compact tractor, looking at the operation,
it could be seen that the material was soft, a very shallow cut was being taken and the scaper was not being loaded to capacity.
From my own experience a 1 yard scraper would be enough for a tractor of that size, once in the real world.

This is the one I found.[/url]
that tractor should have no problems filling it within a tractor length... when using one for land levelling here, it would only scrape thin layers on a hundred yard length which requires less traction. Contractors are using way bigger scrapers for land levelling, an 11m3 pulled by a 10 ton NH T8.330 is a bit less than a ton per m3 (about a metric ton per yard) . Most people think Holland is totally flat, but yet farmers here wish it to be millimetered as a billiart table:
