If you are so sure it is counterfeited stickers, why on Gods green earth would you have ANY doubt you will not get your money back.

Well, I state my opinions much like anyone else here, but without the support of the masses I have no idea who will believe or trust me...I have weighed in with my opinion and unsupported experience (like many on the internet) but only hope whoever reads this does so with an open mind and comes to their own conclusion. Good luck with that, I think and hope I have made my point, and if wrong then someone disproves me...this thread is going nowhere and I hope to not go down with it!

OP I wish you luck in getting what you deserve, if in fact it is true! I certainly can see both sides, something that I think many on here are too blind to do.

difference being, it was my money to begin with, and I want it back... they are determined they are going to hang on to it.

Maybe going way off topic but why not at this point in the thread.

I hate to break the news... but there is quality stuff coming from 'other than USA'. iPhones are generally regarded as quality product. Made in China. Oh did you know Oil Rigs, fracking equipment, commercial aircraft, etc. are being built there too. For those who haven't been to China there are legitimate companies making quality product. Yes China and other Asian nations have problems evolving to international (Western) standards but 'we' are over there making it happen. The Chinese potential market is the biggest in the world (1/4 of world pop.)... and one reason why many North American and European companies are setting up shop there. I travel on business in China and throughout Asia, regularly. I may ruffle some allegiant feathers and believe me I am patriotic but 'the world is our oyster'. Support the companies and people you trust!

Why aren't you contacting Everlast to get your money back or an approved replacement? I'd pursue that before I went to court. Even though the stickers may have been bogus, doesn't mean you have a bad machine. Who knows, maybe the machines would pass CSA standards with flying colors? From what I can barely see, there is an investigation but no mention of any charges or fines. If there's no record of any problems using the machines, you could solve the problem by removing the sticker.:laughing:

Well, you are a better man than I then Buck, because I tried to see his (the op's) side of the story, I have recently bought an Everlast machine, and at first glance I am not as happy with it as I had hoped.
It may be the machine and its performance. Or it could be the fact I have only welded a few times in the last 15 years and my talents as a young man is lost or forgotten.
That being said, I am trying to give Everlast the sort of objectivity as I would want for myself.

The OP has not shown ANY such objectivity.
Nadda None Zilch.

Maybe with good reason, but so far has not even been able to do the simplest task of providing a readable document on his post in this day and age.

Sorry, until I see something that condemns Everlast I am willing to give them every benefit of the doubt

Everlast is hiding.

I suspect they know they have a considerable exposure here, basically every machine they sold in Canada, for over 2 years, was fraudulently represented and now basically worthless, or worse... they could be liable for fires/deaths/etc.

Much as I have disdain for their tactics (they have brought this on themselves) it's still a pretty tight spot for a company to be in.

That's why I am here.
