Is that because of digital settings? On my 211 I can 'dial' it up past the 1/4in in 110v but I imagine there is no more output power generated unless I switch to 230v.

On my 1/4 setting (on 120v) I can dial up the Voltage and dial up the WFS beyond the factory 'presets'. But if I try to "+" for "thickness" beyond the 1/4 it does not respond. I bet the machine is smart enough to know where the input limits are, even if simply based on stopping short of throwing a 20A breaker. Just a guess.

No grinding on the welds at all, just to take off a sharp corner. Hmmmmm well that's the internet for ya, everybody can be an expert, even me. I don't know about you, I'd have to see a little more from you than your assessment of my ATV hitch.

This.

Not me - that was welded by Mr. Harbor S. Freight. and he didn't grind it either.

In any case, my ATV ain't gonna bust it.

Heres a few of my welds as per your request.

Anyway, here's a pic of a 3/16" repair on my car-trailer. The welds are strong as the base material, and better than most of the existing welds from the MFR. Which broke, (which is why I had to repair it). I use this trailer to haul the tractor and excavator since they are both less than the 5600lb capacity.

Well....this one I would have used a wire feed with more power. Or a stick welder.
My millermatic 210 is a really nice mig for this kind of stuff - I would recommend that size to anyone who didn't need the extra power and duty cycle of the mm250 class machines.

Nice work sodo. I bought basically the same machine to weld on my craftsman snow blower. $185.00 saved me $1300.00 for a new blower. I've also did some repairs to my rotary cutters skin. The machines are extremely handy for small jobs.

I guess some just like punishment.:confused3: This is a non thread. A Multi-Matic 200 is a $2000 machine! Comparing it to the $199 specials isn't even close. Myself, for $2000 plus the cost of two Honda inverter generators could come up with a much better welding and/or generating set up for less money.
