Mine came loose and got bent. I was wanting to see an unbent one so I can figure out how to reshape mine.

Thanks

Mine came loose within the first couple of days it wasn't bent so I just slipped it back in and hand tightened it.
Naturally I forgot to tighten it with a wrench so a few days later I bent it pretty good. I was able to put the end of the bar into the bottom half of the coupling and slowly bend it until it lined up to thread on. Oh yeah this time I was sure to put a wrench to it

By the way that is not my tractor. :) But it looks the same. What I did after mine came loose and I wadded up the rod, I straightened the rod out and reassembled with some blue Locktite, and for insurance I staked the nuts with an automatic center punch.

Yeah I plan on some Locktite also!

Good idea on the Locktite.

Mine came loose a couple of years ago. I straightened and reinstalled it, but did not use Locktite. This winter I noticed it missing after blowing snow. I retraced the complete paths a few times without finding it. I figured it would show up this spring when the snow was gone. But no luck--it has disappeared. So now I'm without the rod. I believe a replacement is $56, so I'll get by without it for now. If I replace it I'll make my own by bending and threading some plain rod.

If I do replace it I certainly will use Locktite.

Speaking of coming loose just finished putting up my first little bit of hay, the DK45 worked fine on the NH 467 haybine and NH 269 baler, but a 10mm retaining bolt came out of the bottom left 3 pt arm and I lost the pin. Thoughts of a $50 + Kioti part crossed my mind but luckily spotted the pin on the road the next day. So $1.50 bolt and some locktite will fix it.

I have found a couple of those pin retaining bolts loose on my loader. I found them in time and retightened them.

I am surprised how the bolts can work loose despite having lock washers. Because of this thread's reminder I will reinstall all them with blue Locktite.

We have found some loader bolts are too short also.
