Take a BFH (Big Fine Hammer:)) to that mounting tab on the toothbar. A 3 pounder would do.

And get yourself a ballast box to offset the loader. The loaded rears won't help very much in that regard. You need weight out behind the rear axle to help protect from overloading the front axle.

Generally, you'll find that the deck will work even better for grass mowing with the two metal anti-blowout pieces removed from the bottom of the front skirt of the deck. They need to be there during leaf season though. They create a low pressure area just above them that creates a good vacuum affect to help suck the leaves in under the front skirt instead of blowing them away as you approach them on your pass. Without them, the grass has a chance to stand up again much sooner before the cutting tips/edges of the blades reach them, which makes for a cleaner cut.

Ok so some updates. While I was washing the tractor last weekend, I noticed a few hoses near the hydro pedal were worn down to the braid. Called the dealer, and he ordered me all 3 hoses.

Washed the tractor last weekend. Washed, clay bar, polished, sealed with a sealant and topped with a carnauba wax. Removed all the silly safety stickers as well as the dealer sticker.

Yesterday I went to the dealer to pick up the hoses and the 3 cans of touchup paint I ordered (at $17 a piece :sidelaugh). He offered to pick up the tractor to install the hoses, but I insisted I do it myself since it'd be silly for him to waste an hour coming out and getting my tractor just for this.

I notice another CS2410 in the yard with a canopy. I asked my sales rep (Brian Baker) what did it cost. He said originally $400, but I could have this one. He mentioned they ordered another canopy and this one came, and they only just put it on to get it out of the warehouse. I was like YEAH!:thThumbsU I simply cant convey how awesome the customer service is at this place.

Either way, last night I installed the hoses in about an hour, as well as changed the fuel filter. I made sure the hoses were tied away from the pedals. The fuel filter was FULL of gunk, this is definitely the cause of my problem I mentioned earlier in this thread. Also installed the canopy, and touched up some grey on the frame.

Chaffed hoses

Up to 15.6hrs on the tractor, still love it. Its a great machine.

What is a clay bar? What sealant did you use?

Clay bar gets rid of all embedded contaminates in the paint. IE: Anything rough you feel on the paint it removes it, normal washing wont.

I used FK1000P Sealant, although my favorite locally available sealant is Duragloss #105. Napa and Autozone have it, works great.

Thanks! Can you further explain the clay bar process- is it just for use on new paint?
How did you apply the sealant? Hand, like wax, or spray?
What grey did you use to do touch-up?
BTW, your tractor looks great!
Thanks.

Tractor look's super sharp! I clay bar my vehicles. If you think your car's clean, take a clay bar to it!

Its a piece of putty pretty much, that you rub on the paint while the car is wet (I do it during the wash process, per panel). When the bar stops making a sound, its done and you move on to the next panel after kneading the clay into itself.

How did you apply the sealant? Hand, like wax, or spray?

All last step products (waxes, sealants) should be applied by hand. Spray sealants work well, but durability suffers. I use them as a booster after every wash to extend the life of my base sealant.

What grey did you use to do touch-up?

Kioti Grey from the dealer. $13 a can:eek:

Thanks.

See above.
