Take a BFH (Big Fine Hammer
) to that mounting tab on the toothbar. A 3 pounder would do.
What is a clay bar? What sealant did you use?
Clay bar gets rid of all embedded contaminates in the paint. IE: Anything rough you feel on the paint it removes it, normal washing wont.
I used FK1000P Sealant, although my favorite locally available sealant is Duragloss #105. Napa and Autozone have it, works great.
Thanks! Can you further explain the clay bar process- is it just for use on new paint?
Its a piece of putty pretty much, that you rub on the paint while the car is wet (I do it during the wash process, per panel). When the bar stops making a sound, its done and you move on to the next panel after kneading the clay into itself.
How did you apply the sealant? Hand, like wax, or spray?
All last step products (waxes, sealants) should be applied by hand. Spray sealants work well, but durability suffers. I use them as a booster after every wash to extend the life of my base sealant.
What grey did you use to do touch-up?
Kioti Grey from the dealer. $13 a can
BTW, your tractor looks great!
Thanks.
