Homemade Tree / Post Puller

I made mine outta used iron and cylinder also. But if someone asked me how much I had in it, I'd guess at the cost of the iron if I had to buy it as well as the cylinder, hoses, etc., and that would be my cost estimate. But then, I don't consider any dimensional iron as scrap. And definitely wouldn't consider a working cylinder as scrap.

This Spring I removed 1/4 mile of barbed wire fence and pulled every post from the seat of the Bobcat.

Richard, I sure hope that was YOUR fence you pulled. Or just upset with your neighbors? :laughing:

How ironic that you would mention that. My neighbor to the East is a total crook. Last year he replaced 1/4 mile of fence on our property lines. The corners at each end were left so it was easy to tell where the fence belonged. He moved it 8' over on us. I told him he'd hafta move it. He said he was busy and probably couldn't get to it til Spring. I told him he had until April 15th. April 13th the fence still hadn't been moved so I went to visit him. He gave me all kinds of excuses. I told him the morning of the 15th I would crank up my tractor with Grapple bucket and pull his fence. Told him I'd pile all the steel in the scrap iron pile to sell and would pull and cut up all the hedge posts for firewood. He said he'd rather I didn't do that. I said, then move your fence. The next morning he removed the entire fence and the next day rebuilt it in the right place.

Why do people gotta be like that???? What angers me most is that he made me get angry before he corrected the problem.

You and Shield Arc and your neighbors... sure makes me thankful all mine are currently good neighbors. I've had bad neighbors (not as bad as yours) and it is just plain aggravating.

I've been watching this post. To see where the parts actually fail. It's not uncommon for the quick tach bracket to twist, resulting in a bent coupler,. I've repaired a few of these for my local kubota dealer.
We convert the original 2.5 tube to a 3/16 3.5 in tube and install the locking quick attach arm locks.
And I guarantee u won't bend it again If u lock it , using the provided locks.
