I bought attachment that fits on my cordless drill to cut corrugate steel sheeting works great it cuts like through like paper.It cost 60.00 was worth every penny.

In recent years, Plasma cutters have come down a lot in price. If cutting up to 5/16" plate, The small units which have a built in compressor will do. Not as portable as a gas torch however, They cut fast and clean.
