00 grease

I have a Ford-917L flail mower that leaks 85w140 all most as fast as you pour it, so I'll have to look in the trailer section of a couple local TSCs.

At that rate it costs you more in oil than it probably does fuel to mow for an hour.

I bought the "00" at TSC last week. They had to look it up computer because the clerk and I were looking in grease and gear oil area. It was in the three point parts area.

It was in the trailer\ wheelbearing section in our TSC so it must vary. I just happened on it as I was browsing as I looked several other times in the grease area.

I just bought 1 quart of Super-S 00 grease from TSC in Starke, FL. $4.99 before taxes. It was in the lube section, but on the very top, and over by gear oils, not greases. My recipe lists it as "Spindle Grease". Don't know how TSC is about standardizing stock area to areas; maybe some have more ag stuff in ag areas and more garden in the suburban stores?
