Paul, I'm still adjusting to the luxury of no flat tires, confidence in the engine and hydraulics, no front axle leak, solid ROPS with garage clearance, and a good looking machine with personalized graphics!
Making good progress on the latest homemade attachment. Have company now so will be a few days before I give it a real test.
Great job done by all , you are so forunate to have Paul as a mechanic as it is obvious he has a great talent in what he does . To bad there aren't more mechanics with his ability and honesty .
And, how many mechanics are lucky enough to have someone like his Kathy hanging around, keeping him entertained? Which makes me wonder just how much of the admiration and credit we give Paul is rightfully hers???
Last night I watched a few more of Kathy and Paul's videos ,I must say they are very informative , great job guys and a big thanks . If you ever get the chance would you consider doing a video on a full service for the B series Kubota ?
Thanks Paul and Kathy
In defence of Paul (4shorts) there is a secure paper trail (emails) clearly showing that I requested the ROPS modification and also shows Paul's reluctance to do it. The paper trail also clearly documents my reason for the modification (more dangerous hardly ever using it as ultimately my garage and/or tractor will get damaged). Also, I have lots of Youtube videos showing me using the tractor with the ROPS folded down. In one video even my Grandson is shown using the BX with the ROPS down (that was clearly my fault but it was pretty well an ingrained habit at the time).
Also, Paul makes no bones about his reluctance to do the modification in at least one of the associated video.
Yea, but remorse from a murderer doesn't constitute any kind of innocence either. Just sayin', gotta be careful. I see both sides of the fence on the subject, from a business standpoint, no way would I do it unless I were to recert. it. I don't even think I'd do it on my own tractor as I know selling it down the road, it would be in another persons hands, and I could be held accountable. We have racetracks with signed waivers of dismissal of any liability and they still get sued for stuff they have no direct control over. If I've learned anything about law, its that it isn't always the most logical or common sense answer, even if you are right on a moral or ethical dilemma.
For $166.52 Messicks will sell you the top half of the ROPS for a BX25. I would put an OEM ROPS back on if I were to make such a change and then sell the tractor.Yea, but remorse from a murderer doesn't constitute any kind of innocence either.
