The Land Pride rake bought at TSC 4 years ago bent at the frame level yesterday. No tines broke, just the "U" frame that holds them in place. I'll post some photos if you want.

I don't think there is a way to fix it, so if you can suggest a nicer unit, I will respect your opinions. I also realize u get what u pay for so another 2-300 bucks for one that will last me till my son-in-laws have to change my diapers, I would appreciate it.

Woods and LandPride are very well made.

Agreed on the recommends, but why not just replace the frame. Isn't it just an angle iron with holes in it? I guess pix would be in order but my thoughts are initually to repair it.

Probably could be fixed, but that might lead to a new weak link. I like TSC for some things, but they really cut corners on others.

If I was going to repair it would use thicker angle iron and find a shop with a iron worker get them to punch holes in it much faster than drilling

i just got a 60'' rake from everything attachments, very well made. & not too much more than tsc (American made, worth every penny.) this thing will outlast me. fits my imatch too :)

I believe it's landpride in disguise, but I could be wrong...

More likely a repainted King Kutter.

Mine is bent also. I think mine could be fixed if I had time to take it apart. I think what got mine was the bolts loosened up. Then when I backed into a pile and it twisted. Plus I'm missing 2 tines.

2 pieces of 4" channel will fix it. Does TSC sell the new tines.

Surprised to hear a Land Pride may have failed. Bet they would be also, normally build bulletproof products. Pics please.

If you buy a new one definitely take a close look at the everything attachments landscape rake 2.0. I bought a 60in unit last year and it's built heavier than anything I've ever seen. I have four attachments built by them and every one is over built like a tank, and is a little less expensive.

Here are some photos showing the damage as requested. It is a "County Line" rake, sold at TSC, but I believe it is made by Land Pride as a "Big Box Store" knockoff.

Agree. I thought for once in my life I would pay a premium for quality and I'm glad I did.

To the best of my knowledge, Land Pride has NEVER built a unit with a turn table, or the channel iron clamping system that you have. Looks similar to what Midwest use to build and Midwest built a lot of implements for a number of implement suppliers. Hitch part looks different though. Not sure other than it is not a Land Pride unit. ;)

I always heard County Line was built by King Kutter.

TSC uses more than one provider. Some are made by King Kutter, some by Tarter, and there may be others. Probably none are made to equal any Land Pride units. Twisting with TSC rakes has been a known problem for several years, as can be verified by a search of TBN.

Looking further and reading the posts from MtnViewRanch and GreenWannabe, I'd have to agree it is not a Land Pride. I do agree Everything Attachments looks like a good piece of equipment, but the wheel accessory would put me out of my budget range. I'll keep looking and let you know what I find.
