There is nothing foolish about that at all. We spend allot of money on our tractors. You need to keep them nice and take care of them including the paint.

I agree, no reason not to take care of them. Put a coat of wax on mine about a month ago.

Haha. I'll have to get that taken care of.

My bucket is also a mess. I've used the crap out it this year. The loader is off now, as I'll be mounting my snow blade for winter. Meanwhile, if I get the gumption, I intend to sand down my bucket and give it new paint job. Boy, does it need it.

There are some grease removers that are safe on paint? I don't know. I KNOW various sprays I have in the shop would cut it right off, but I hesitate to spray them. Open to suggestion on that score. The loader is a mess in those zerk areas and cleaning up before spring would be a good task.
