That's the video where about 2 minutes into it, Jody just sets up the stinger with a 7014 rod and lets it lay down a nice looking bead by itself.
Can't get no easier than that. :cool2:
Like mentioned, 7014 is a good rod for general use - it also re-strikes very easy and runs well on AC as well. Run it hot, drag the flux on the plate, and take a nap - yeah, it's that easy sometimes![]()
I stopped using 7014 for this very reason. Figured naps while welding wasn't a very good mix......
