Buying Advice Kubota for NH woodlands

Before you drink from you crystal clear stream, have it checked for stuff. My son was hiking in the Cascades in the 80's, and drank from a cold clear stream on a mountaintop that was literally in the middle of nowhere. He still has troubles from the parasites he got. All it takes is one critter upstream, and there ya go. Love your orange stable of equipment! Congratulations on making good choices.

The previous owner said he drank from it. I've not had water from a stream in NH since the 1970's, and Giardia was already starting to be commonplace.

but that doesn't even remotely take away from your exquisite site location, great place. glad to have something of same in my own neck of the woods in this day of decreasing wildlife habitat, & ever increasing political agenda whining from both sides that is sometimes worse than giardia itself...enjoy your plot, i sure do mine. next step? wood duck habitat improvement on this side, & keep posting yours. best on your endeavors

Loggers were at our place today, so I discovered just about the max load. If I bounced the FEL it would bounce the rear tires off the ground. The logger had a JD5210 and was amused. I was burying the 18" bar on many of these big ones.

Looks like you have your work cut out for a little while.
Splitting and stacking hardwood in cool weather is one of my favorite things.
Care & feeding tip:
Our compact, 4x tractors have an Achilles heel - the front axle.
If your rears are light, then your front axle is most likely overloaded.
Be a friend to your beast and add some ballast when loading up the FEL.
Your kindness will be repaid with years of faithful service.

I don't have any more logs that size....

Where the **** do we buy a bed! We need a queen size, guess I'll have to grab a van.
