Yes, I believed the dealer when he set it was "set up." The ground was uneven in the front so I chalked it up to that. Then when I took a break I discovered the tail wheel was set in the second-lowest setting and the unit was tilted forward so much the wheel would barely touch on flat ground. So "set up" in dealer speak apparently means "attached, but not adjusted." I lengthened the top mount and I'm going to drop the tail wheel a few inches for my next session.

I had to do that with mine when I got it. It took a few times adjusting it until I got it where I liked it.

How much fuel do yall store? I just have one 5 gallon can for diesel at the moment. I have no idea about fuel consumption other than that at 8 hours it took the whole five gallons and wasn't topped off. Is there a GPH burn rate for an L3200? It's still breaking in but usage seems to be a bit under 1 GPH thus far. That would mean for a weekend of running I should probably have two five gallon cans.

You should get another can. You may already know this, but it's best to store your tractor with a full tank of fuel. It reduces condensation forming in the tank.

Regarding GPH, it will depend on how you're using it. If you're at PTO rpm, using the power, say bush hogging or something, you'll use more than if you're putzing around pulling logs or a trailer at 1800-2200 rpm.

I have 2 5 gallon cans, when mowing or clearing brush with the grapple average about a gallon an hour

So we have started making trails through the woods. And they are kind of lumpy, so we get chatter on the dirt bike suspensions and the tractor bounces around quite a bit. I've tried back dragging with the Ratchet Rake but that hasn't helped that much: the bucket by itself did a little better. The soil is generally quite sandy.

Should I let it rain on the trail some more and see if it smooths out? Or buy something to work it over, and if so, what?

They just look better & better as you use them to get more & more done.
For smoothing out a trail or road, few things work better than a good, heavy box blade.
