Parts have arrived!!! Not too much really, mostly the skid shoes, the trip spring assembly and the main pivot pins. Time to mount this on the tractor.

I have the same blade on my BX24. I don't use the shoes, just float the blade. It really depends on your driveway, but float works best on my asphalt. It WILL wear out the edge more quickly though.

I swap from blade to blower as needed. THe quick hitch makes it a breeze.

And there it is!!! Feeling ready.

Right now, the east-west is manual, but we'll get that hydraulic cylinder welded on and functional, but for now, it's just good to have this put together and ready to go. I still have to mount my wheel weights. Not today.

Did you have problems with the shoes, or is this just a preference for you? Curious.

Looking good. At least you can handle the snow now should you need to (while you wait to get the hydraulic angling set up). I can't fathom why Kubota would ship those parts separately? Should all be packed with the plow. Strange.

I bought my blade used and one of the shoes was 1/2 worn off so I just eliminated them from my setup.

Exactly. While the unit is completely useable "as is", I do look forward to the adaptation. I did find the couplings, so now it is a simple matter of ordering a cylinder, probably from Surplus Center, and have some hoses made up, probably locally.

I'm sure the missing hardware package was not Kubota's issue. I suspect it got removed from this kit to supply some other kit, best I can figure, somewhere along the line. We'll never know. It's all good now and the dealer handled the matter well, if not with warp speed, but got the parts to me within two weeks of my calling them, so all in all, kudos.

With a little practice, you'll be able to feather the controls as you approach the lawn to keep from scraping up you grass. A BTDT : make sure that you push the snow way into your yard to leave room for the next storms. Without a blower, it builds up really fast.
