Anyone ever run across Bed Bugs at a hotel?

So I'm traveling for work this week. After a 6 hour drive I checked in at the hotel & go to my room. I turn the TV on & sit down on the bed. After about 30 minutes I see something crawling on the bed covers I get a piece paper & pick it up & it's bed bug. I killed it & took it to the front desk & they apologize & say they've never had any problems with them before. So they give me another room & said the manager will contact me tomorrow.

They lied.

We checked into a hotel a couple years back, pulled back the blankets and the sheet had blood stains on it from bedbugs biting people. I don't think the sheets had been changed since the previous guest.

I haven't unpacked anything.i am thinking about going to another hotel.

Here's a pic of one. I pulled the covers and the mattresses off & I don't see anything in this room.

Check this website to see if they have had problems reported in the past. I would go to another hotel if it were me.

My Brother stayed at a best western and got bugs on his cloths. Changed hotels, gets home and 2 weeks later his house is full of them. Had to get it fumigated.
