Kubota B21 Advice

I advise you look closely at the B26. For the extra money you will get a way more useful machine. Not only can you install a thumb but the skid steer loader bucket is invaluable. I have a clamp bucket and a snow plow and they both install in minutes. I love that clamp bucket. I live in the woods and use it a lot.

I owned a B20 before moving up to the B26. The B21 and B20 have the same digging power but the B26 is a substantial improvement. My B26 only had 200 hours on it and I paid 25 grand. If you can find one with more hours the price should be close to 20 grand.

Hi Don,

Thanks for the advice. That's two previous B20/ 21 owners saying how nice the B26 is. I am also looking at a used B2910 at the moment. If I don't end up going that route, I may just have to keep saving and looking a bit for a B26. Luckily there seems to be plenty of them out there.
